Why try hypnotherapy? Because hypnotherapy can be used to reprogram the subconscious mind through suggestions, to change or remove unwanted and unhelpful behaviours for positive improvements to your life, as under hypnosis your mind and body are in a heightened state of focused attention and learning.
You are often in a state of self-hypnosis, such as daydreaming and being lost in your own thoughts, and generally most people are hypnotisable. Hypnosis is not mind control, and you will be fully aware while under hypnosis. You cannot be hypnotised if you don’t want to be, or made to do anything you don’t want to – stage hypnosis is not the same as hypnotherapy.
During a hypnotherapy session your goals, any changes that you want to make to improve your life, and a treatment plan will be discussed. Then you will be guided into hypnosis – into a state of relaxation and increased awareness. And while you are in this state positive suggestions for the changes you want to make will be made. You will then be guided back out of hypnosis to a fully awake state to end the session.
Hypnotherapy sessions at Muma Nurture take place in a confidential and safe environment, for you to discuss the positive life changes you want to make and for your treatment.
